Closed file and destruction policy:

For each client file, Ewen Boyd will store the closed file for a maximum of 20 years (or as applicable regarding the nature of the file and the file storage requirements of Law Pro insurance at the time). Each file will be destroyed physically and electronically at the end of the expiry period and notice will not be provided to the client. This policy does not apply to “Wills” files where Ewen Boyd will retain all original Wills being stored in our office without destruction of the materials.
